One City, Many Destinations Competition Deadline Extended!

As if you needed a reason to travel the world with your camera, CITY Magazine just extended its deadline for its One City, Many Destinations travel photography competition to July 31st (tomorrow!). The competition calls for submissions from both amateur and professional photographers from around the world. The objective: choose an image which best captures the essence of a city.

The winning image will be chosen by a jury of six internationally renowned photography and travel aficionados to appear on the cover of CITY’s Fall 2007 travel issue. The grand prize also includes the Leica M8 camera and lens, a four-day stay at any W Hotel in North America, two round-trip Continental Airlines tickets, and a $500 gift certificate to Calumet Photographic.

But you don’t have to win the grand prize to get your own share of fame. The photos of 16 finalists will also appear in a special travel photography portfolio inside the issue. Additionally, 15 runners-up will receive a Leica C-LUX 2 compact camera.
